Overview

TALLULAH — 1931 Wicks Brothers Classic

Overview

TALLULAH is a wonderful example of how “Picnic-Style” powerboats were presented in the American Pre-war era. Built by Wicks Brothers Boats in Amityville, Long Island, she has been beautifully maintained and significantly refreshed in 2022 by the experts at McMillen Yachts. She features a lovely layout suitable for a full day or weekend on the water. She is ideally suited for the classic yacht lover desiring an affordable, easy to maintain classic in great shape. New diesel power, paint and varnish ensure she is truly ready to go.

Key Features
• New Yanmar diesel engine
• New AC/DC electrical panels
• New battery charger and batteries

Accommodations

TALLULAH features a simple and practical arraignment plan with an enclosed head located forward, followed by two settees (which double as bunks) to port and starboard and a basic galley.  The interior is very open and airy, with newly done cushions and soft goods, fresh paint and varnished mahogany trim and cabinetry.  Up two steps farther aft and one is welcomed into a large open cockpit, fully protected from the sun.  All six of her windows open inward to allow for a fully “alfresco” feeling if desired.  A newly designed and constructed aft settee was installed by McMillen Yachts in 2022 and provides a lovely place to lounge.
